Judd started Axess Finance, previously known as Virgin Finance, in 1999. The company was known for vehicle finance, personal loans, mortgages and general small business cash flow finance. In the last three years the company has also moved into debtor and working capital finance, plant and equipment finance and commercial property finance.
Judd understands the need for businesses to have more options for growth capital. He realised debt is not a bad thing for business as long as its for the right asset and can be obtained at the best possible interest rate the market has to offer. Along with lending his own funds, he realised that linking up with major lenders in all of the categories of business finance was very important. Judd’s main role at Axess is to make sure our lenders panel understands our clients needs for funding, therefore making sure Axess clients make the best possible application in timely fashion to obtain the best lend at the best rates.
Judd is Christchurch born and bred and has been in his own business for over 13 years.
Craig Tarres – Business Finance / Senior Lender

Craig has been involved with Axess for over two years now. Craig comes from a banking background with roles at Citibank and Westpac (Sydney). Craig has also been involved in running his own companies for 10 years and understands cashflow and working capital requirements.
Craigs role at Axess is to continue to identify companies that require sufficient capital to grow and direct Axess clients through the finance sector to find the best possible finance deal in debtor and working capital, plant and equipment and other asset purchases.
Craig is originally from Christchurch, with overseas banking and business experience of over 19 years.
Matt Cunningham BCM – Personal & Vehicle Finance

Matt is our Personal & Vehicle Finance Specialist. In this role Matt enjoys helping clients finance a variety of life’s wants and needs, such as holidays, vehicles and building renovations through to debt consolidation packages. Matt is from Christchurch having studied at Lincoln University and with over 8 years of business experience.
Consultants to Axess
Andrew is a chartered accountant. Andrew provides Axess and its clients with accounting back-up for finance applications. He has been an accountant for 20 years.

James is a dedicated IT Professional specialising in High End Server management and network infrastructure. James ensures that our servers and computer networks are secure and operate 24/7 with regular backup of data.
